Nate was born in the wilds of Africa, and grew up eating locusts and chocolate covered ants. He believes that the time he has invested singing along to Michael W. Smith songs has more than qualified him to be a soloist on the worship team. He won the lottery by marrying his ever-adventurous wife Elizabeth AKA 'Buffy,' and they have two mischievous kids who love to have dance parties. Most of all, he loves the steadfast grace of Jesus and is excited to pray for his Journey family.

Alex is married to his wife Faith and has 3 amazing kiddos.

Amy came to Journey because she heard a rumor that Bend has the most coffee shops per capita. In addition to the Bend’s coffee scene, she also was very drawn to Journey’s vision to reach its community with the Good News about Jesus. So she is really excited to jump into this new role! Amy also has aspirations of being the greatest aunt of all time, so she works hard to spoil her five nieces and nephews. That’s her in a nutshell: Jesus, aunting and coffee!

COMMUNITY LIFE PASTOR
Kim can do almost anything. She easily could be a super hero. However, she's under contract to serve at Journey Church. Little unknown fact about Kim (and her husband Bruce) is that they owned a Christian Bookstore. So, they know everything about Bibles. Kim loves road trips, unlimited fruits and veggies and in her free time has hiking poles or a kayak paddle in hand.
Mark comes from a long line of Leprechaun Hunters from the deep valleys of Ireland. He can be found at times trying to hit a small white ball around a nicely cut field. Mark has traveled a lot of the world and has achieved a lot in his life but his greatest achievements are his beautiful wife and son. Mark does not like deep water or lightning.
JOURNEY SUPPORT STAFF
Bethany grew up in Germany and can correctly pronounce the name “IKEA”. She is passionate about design and the color pallet of white on white. Home is her favorite vacation spot with her better half and husband, Garrett and cat, Boots. They all can’t wait to welcome their twin babies in the Fall of 2019.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY COORDINATOR
Carol can most often be found downstairs in our children's ministry zooming through classrooms with a smile on her face and ready to welcome everyone. With her husband Brian and their three kids Riley, Austin, and Brady they have been taking full advantage of all that Bend has to offer since moving here in October of 2017.
Hannah has bungee jumped from a gondola in Switzerland, braved the whitewater rivers of West Virginia, and eaten 6.2 million scoops of ice cream in her lifetime. She keeps the Journey books straight, all while raising two young boys with her husband, Ernie.
Mary is the lone girl in a house full of boys. When she’s not helping someone in the Journey office she can be found transporting middle school boys around, mentoring student teachers, or roaming the outdoors with her energetic dog. If you’re ever looking for someone to have coffee with, Mary’s your gal!
WOMEN’S COMMUNITY TEAM LEADER
Shannon was born in what was once a very tiny town called Bend which you have likely heard stories about. Shannons greatest calling is being a wife and mother of three adorable kids (Merritt, Teaghan and Aspen)! She can often be found praying with people with a tear in her eye and a bottle of Kombucha in her hand. Her heart is to encourage and equip women as they journey with the Lord in the calling He has on their lives.
